Sumter sits in central South Carolina with a humid subtropical climate — hot, humid summers with highs regularly near 90–98°F, mild winters dipping into the mid-30s, and over 45 inches of rain a year, with June typically the wettest month. That combination matters for drywall work in a few real ways:
